Children’s Ministry
Birth to 5th Grade
Sunday Morning Sunday School for ages 3 – grade 12 is concurrent with the 10am Worship Service in the church sanctuary. ALL students attend worship with their families. Following the Wondering Time Sunday School students are invited to go with adult leaders to the upstairs Sunday School hallway for the following:.
J.A.M. (Jesus and Me)*
Children are invited to join the adult leader and adult helper following the Wondering Time for Sunday School using the PCUSA curriculum: “Feasting the Word.” (Children may also remain in worship with their families. See below for “Worship Option.”) Concord’s multi-age Sunday School class allows students to experience God’s presence through the sharing of joys and concerns, prayer, and “unpacking” the Wondering Time story using crafts, games and activities with friends of all ages.

Childcare in the Nursery
Worship Option
Children of all ages are always welcome to stay in worship with their families or make use of the Children’s Space at the back of the sanctuary (see “Children’s Space” for more details.)
Children’s Space: Children are valued members of the body of Christ and we seek to meet them where they are. Knowing that children often absorb what’s around them even while at play, Concord provides quiet activities at the back of the sanctuary so that children may move, create, listen, and observe. A mandala prayer station is provided for children of all ages, as well as rotating books and activities.
All of Concord’s volunteers who work with children and youth have had a background check completed and have completed sexual abuse prevention training.
If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact our Director of Children’s and Youth Ministries, Christina Pressley, at concord.christinap@gmail.com or ask one of our greeters on Sunday morning and they would be happy to assist you!
