Keeping you connected to the life and ministry of
Concord Presbyterian Church!

Pastor Steve Clark preaching
Sunday, July 26

For this Sunday, READ Ezra 3:10-13 and REFLECT: After several generations in exile in Babylon, most of the people of Israel have returned to their beloved homeland and their capital city of Jerusalem. Under the prodding and guidance of Ezra, they begin rebuilding the temple which had been completely destroyed by the Babylonians. In this text, the people gather to celebrate the completion of the new temple's foundation. The crowd's reaction is mixed: some celebrate in joy at this new beginning (v. 11) , while others weep in grief as they remember what they have lost (v. 12). In the midst of what is currently going on in your life and in the world, what new beginnings are happening that are worth celebrating? What is being lost that causes you to grieve? Where are you seeing God's work of "rebuilding" going on? How can you be part of it?

Congregational Care Visits

Greetings to all,
If you are tired of staying at home and want to accompany me on some home visits [actually yard and porch and sidewalk visits], let me know. We set up a time with someone who would love to see some church faces - especially those with no internet capabilities to see YouTube or participate in Zoom or even to read email. We then figure out how the visit will work - through a window or door or porch stoop, etc.
We drive separately, wear masks, and do not go indoors. This is a real opportunity to bring joy to others and to experience it yourself. Let me know if you're interested, and we can talk.
Peace and love, Kathie
 or 302-373-7127

Felleng Kalema & Bobbie Longacre visiting from a distance (and talking via cell) at Foulk Manor North.

The Hazels ride-by... the Pressleys!

Elinor Weaver & Kay Jewett socializing on Elinor's porch, properly masked of course!

Nancy & Ashley Tieste during a visit with Kathie Pownall.
