Concord Presbyterian Church!

Palm/Passion Sunday
March 28
Pastor Steve Clark preaching

For this Sunday, READ Luke 19:28-48 and REFLECT: As you read Luke's description of Jesus entering Jerusalem, and his actions in the temple, are there details you haven't noticed before? Are there details you expected to see that are missing? Given that each of the Gospel writers (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) had reasons for telling the story in their own way, including some details and leaving others out, what do you hear Luke wanting us to learn from these verses? What would it mean for you to take to heart Luke's message in your life?
TO JOIN US in worship this Sunday, March 28, CLICK ON THE PICTURE above to go to our Concord website. Near the bottom of the home page, click on the same picture to connect with the worship video. The worship video will be accessible after 9:00am each Sunday morning.

Blankets Offering
And don't forget to do good and share with those in need. ~ Hebrews 13:16

Christina asked our younger members to demonstrate how they use blankets at home. (See photos below for a few excellent examples.)
Church World Service provides blankets to those around the world suffering in the wake of disasters, both natural and manmade. CWS blankets bring warmth, shelter, and security to children and families in need. Each $10 gift purchases one blanket, a tangible expression of God's love. It's not too late to make your donation before the end of March.

Checks can be made payable to Concord, memo: Blankets.
Donations can also be made online through Concord's website.

Tyler uses his blanket as a cape to summon his super powers. (Bet a few of those NCAA teams wish they had worn their capes!)

Conrad uses his blanket for a cozy fort and a good night's sleep!

Adult Christian Education Series
Last class - Tuesday, March 30, 2021
7:00pm via Zoom

Much of the racial turmoil in our country today can be traced directly to elements of our history, even before the founding of the United States. Many of the racial stereotypes we hear - or hold - are a direct consequence of intentional economic and public policy and beliefs that have no grounding in genetics. Understanding this history gives us a foundation for action to address the profound inequities that exist in our society today.

Each session includes a presentation by Sue Linderman, followed by times for Q&A and discussion. No preparation is needed. (Sessions have been recorded and previous classes are available on Concord's website.)

For online registration form, please visit the homepage of Concord’s website (www.concordpc.org).
After you register, we will send you a link.
[Please note: This is not the same link as Mug & Muffin, so you must register to attend.]
