circumstance? When have you felt that kind of confidence? When
have you found it hard to trust that God will protect you from
trouble? What do you do in those circumstances?

act upon the recommendation of the Nominating Committee to elect
Gayle Hazel to fill an unexpired term on the Board of Deacons,
Class of 2021.

Prayers of condolence
for Renee Leeson-Fuchs & family following the death of her
mother last week after
a long illness. Traveling mercies as the family heads to West
Virginia for services this week. (obit)
Condolences also for Jan Moore's friend Karen &
family on the passing of her mother Nancy, who has
been struggling over the past few months. Prayers of thanks for the
doctors & hospice workers who cared for her during her last
Raven Studer has requested prayers for Sam, Lora,
Michael, Sara Jane, James & family with the
recent passing of Lisa at age 56 from a sudden heart attack.
Prayers of comfort & healing for Judy Hayes who
suffered a fractured pelvis in a fall. She has been in rehab, but
is scheduled to return to Maris Grove today.
Blessings for Fran van Leeuwen's son Brett & fiancée Aynmie - they plan to marry in Lake Harmony, PA next
Healing prayers for Kathie Pownall -
suffering from a painful sinus infection & dreading an upcoming
trip to the dentist.
Also for Kathie's niece Karlyn who
has dealt with many health issues and is now facing gall bladder
Prayers for Phil Lind, health &
Cynthia Miller requests prayers for Riva & Bill -
his PTSD & mental issues are putting a strain on their
Gerry Crock's friend Polly now needs
skilled nursing care at Willow Valley.
Safe travels for the Lunds, heading for
vacation in Maine.
Rejoicing for Courtney Kidder, starting
a new job in her field (interior design) in Florida this month.
Also for Cynthia Miller's granddaughter
who has obtained a new job in her field.
Joy & safe travels for Steve's daughter &
son-in-law - settling on a new home in Tampa, FL,
then traveling to PA for an extended visit with Steve & Jennie.
Prayers for Carol Schlegel's friend Charlene, who
recently started chemotherapy for a third bout with cancer.
She is a 20-year survivor.
Continued prayers of strength & calming for Denise
Becker, still dealing with a difficult personnel
issue at work.
Prayers for those who,
due to age or illness, find themselves confined within their homes,
no longer able to fully participate in the world outside. Prayers also for their families &
caregivers who offer support and comfort.
