Keeping you connected to the life and ministry of

Concord Presbyterian Church!

Sunday, June 6 - 10:00am
Graduate Recognition, Deacons' Fund, Communion*
Pastor Steve Clark preaching

For this Sunday, READ Psalms 1 and 2 and REFLECT: Are there any common themes you see running through both of these psalms? What differences do you see? What message(s) do you hear in either or both of these psalms for your life? For our life as a congregation?
Our sanctuary is open for in-person worship Sunday at 10:00am; doors open at 9:40am. We have developed guidelines for your safety, including social distancing, mask wearing, hand sanitizing, and collecting contact tracing information. Click here to read a complete list of these guidelines if you plan to attend.
For those who are not yet ready or able to attend our service in person, a live-streamed/recorded option is available on our website.
TO JOIN US in worship online this Sunday, June 6, CLICK ON THE PICTURE above to go to our Concord website. Near the bottom of the home page, click on the same picture to connect with the worship video. The worship service will be available LIVE AT 10:00AM Sunday morning or later in the day to view at your convenience.

*This Sunday we will celebrate the Lord's Supper as part of the service. If joining us online,
please have something ready for eating and something ready for drinking.

This Saturday, June 5, our Concord team will meet at 10:00am in the parking lot to walk a 5K course through the Fairfax neighborhood to raise money for Friendship House, a multi-site, holistic program serving the homeless of New Castle County. (A shorter course will also be available.)
It's not too late to join our Concord team or donate to support the team or your favorite walker - just visit
Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community – Wilmington. Questions? Contact Team Captain John Barineau (

Our weekly MUG & MUFFIN gathering will meet in Jessie's Room next Wednesday, June 9, at our usual 10:00am meeting time. You can still connect via Zoom (same info as always, shown below) if you would prefer to join the conversation that way.

For those attending in person, there are still required protocols to follow:

  • Bring your mask. Unless all of those present are vaccinated and agree to go without masks, we will wear masks and practice social distancing during the gathering.
  • Bring your iPad, smartphone, laptop - whatever you generally use to connect from home. This will allow those joining via Zoom to see all the other participants.
  • If all those present are vaccinated and agree, participants may consume beverages they bring

This week's gallery has a definite gardening theme...

What do you do in a pandemic? According to Dottie Lund, the answer is obvious: Plant a garden!

Ryan Moffett seems to have quite a green thumb, at least where radishes are concerned.

Liz Rowe spotted some Greenes at the garden store...
