CURRENT RISK LEVEL FOR NEW CASTLE COUNTY—HIGH
The Session has adopted a policy of following the CDC guidelines
for all building use based on the risk level for New Castle County.
This includes when the risk level is:
- High:
Masks are required, and social distancing
is encouraged.
- Medium: Masks are encouraged but not required,
and social distancing is encouraged.
- Low:
Masks are not required.
It is important that those who are showing
symptoms—whether COVID or not—stay home no matter what the risk
level so that we minimize the spread. If you have tested
positive, please inform anyone with whom who have been in close
contact so that they can take appropriate action. If you have
tested positive or have had close contact, please review the CDC
guidelines using this link for the Quarantine and Isolation Calculator.
Thanks for your understanding and cooperation;
we all need to do our
part to avoid spreading this virus.

Concord's
Vacation Bible School - July 25-29, 2022
Many thanks to ALL who
made Concord’s first VBS since 2019 such a great week! We
heard the parables of the Good Shepherd and the Lost Sheep, The
Sower, The Good Samaritan, The Mustard Seed, and The Great Pearl,
then responded to them through art, song, and activities. It
was a special time of fellowship and spiritual growth not only
for the campers, but also for our youth and adults!
I would like to thank our youth volunteers
Abby, Alexa, Elliott, Hobie, Izzy, Jacob, Nora, and Tyler, as
well as our adult leaders Brenda Kidder, Dottie Lund, Matthew
Pressley, Nancy Tucker, and Carly Twilley for all their energy,
creativity, and hard work. I also especially want to thank
our awesome Snack Team: Marj Johnson, Jan Moore, Judy Hayes, Gail
Dill, and Betty Shirar for the creative, fun, and delicious
snacks each day! It took a village to pull this off, and I’m so
thankful that Concord has such great people willing to volunteer
and provide this ministry to the children of our community.
With peace, love and
gratitude,
Christina Pressley

are kept in the narthex kitchenette. Set out cups, napkins, trash
can, cold beverages (all provided by the church), your snack...and
there you have it!
