Gospel Music
Sunday’s service was stunning, and I want to thank the choir, the
soloists, the musicians, the choir director, the congregation (for
powerful participation and singing), the participants in the
dialogue sermon, and our young people for organizing the Soup &
Chili Cook-off and Chocolate Challenge. What a Sunday, and we had
lots of visitors!
Well this Sunday will also be a
amazing as we get ready to enter into the season of Lent -
Transfiguration Sunday! We will go up on the mountain top where we
will meet Jesus with Moses and Elijah. We will hear the question
“Who is this Jesus?” answered in the glory of the moment. And then
we will begin the journey with Jesus toward Jerusalem as the
disciples and Jesus come down the mountain top to the valley below
into everyday life. Join us for another Sunday of joy, hope,
challenge, and meaning as we once again join together to worship!
Join us for
IN-PERSON WORSHIP on Sunday at 10:00am; doors open at
9:40am.
To join in WORSHIP ONLINE this
Sunday, March 2, click on the picture above to go

the same picture to connect with the worship video. The worship
service will be available live at 10:30am Sunday morning or later
in the day to view at your convenience.
*This Sunday we will
celebrate the Lord's Supper as part of the service.
If joining us
online, please have something ready for eating and something
ready for drinking.

FRIENDSHIP HOUSE
TOILET PAPER DRIVE
At its many sites,
Friendship House goes through a LOT of toilet paper. Concord
is holding a toilet paper drive for them during the month of
March. Please bring whatever you are able to donate and put
it on the right side of the narthex as you enter. We hope to
build a huge “snowman” there. At the end of March, we will
deliver it to Friendship House.
Thank you!
