Music
The true character of ministry is a servants heart
Music is a means through which our children actively engage in worship, learn biblical texts and theology, nurture relationships with each other, and build self esteem. It is an integral part of the Sunday School curriculum. Additional rehearsals are scheduled for special events. Children and youth learn healthy vocal techniques, sight reading, bell ringing, Orff instruments, and more. Those who study instruments or have an affinity for singing are encouraged to share their gifts in worship services and special events. Youth and children also occasionally sing with the Chancel Choir, and have opportunities to participate in Concord Concert Series events with orchestra. Singers in high school are encouraged to sing with the Chancel Choir.
